Our Story
Founded in Houston, Texas. Gluten Free Nation was born from a deeply personal mission. After being diagnosed with celiac disease in 2004, founder Randi Markowitz set out to create something that simply didn’t exist — gluten-free baked goods that were not only safe to eat, but genuinely delicious.
Frustrated by the lack of quality options in her local markets, Randi began experimenting at home with the items she missed most: breads, muffins, rolls, and more.
From Kitchen To Country
After years of testing and refining, Randi began selling her freshly made breads, muffins, cakes, pie crusts, and rolls under the Gluten Free Nation name. What started as a personal mission quickly became a movement. Today, Gluten Free Nation is available in stores across the United States - with Canada on the horizon - as well as through a thriving online presence across multiple channels.
An Exciting New Chapter
In 2026, Gluten Free Nation was acquired by Eshbal USA Inc. - a milestone that opens the door to new packaging, innovative flavors, and an expanded vision to better serve the gluten-free community across North America.
